A civil engineer is required to work in the Airport International Group

We are looking for a Buildings Civil Engineering Officer to join the Airport International Group

– Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) team. Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

2.Experience in civil finish works maintenance

3.Proficiency in AutoCAD software

4.Proficiency in reading civil and architectural drawings

5.Good command of both English and Arabic languages (written and spoken)

6.Proficiency in Microsoft Office

7.Training courses in function scope are a plus

Job Purpose: Implement and manage preventive and corrective maintenance measures for the systems and utilities mentioned under the job function, while maintaining them in optimal condition and ensuring their smooth operation

Principal Accountabilities:

•Operate the systems under the function scope as required under the maintenance manual scope

•Implement and manage the Maintenance Program, including preventive and corrective maintenance, regular inspections and other related activities – as per relevant company processes, procedures and regulations

•Generate work orders; follow up on work implementation; and fill and complete work orders via the CMMS

•Follow up on staff attendance and performance

•Report regularly to the direct supervisor regarding the job scope – including degradation in the efficiency of any system or utility and other parties’ irregularities

•Supervise, guide and train related staff within the division

•Assist in monitoring work performed by external contractors

•Report materials needed for maintenance and assist in purchase requisition preparation and follow-up

•Follow established company policies and those outlined in the Employee Guidebook

•Apply all environmental, occupational health and safety standards and approved procedures

•Execute departmental logistics issues – including machinery and vehicles – as per defined instructions to accomplish work tasks

•Execute any other tasks relating to the work nature as assigned by management
