AV Company Based in Amman looking to hire Senior AV Pre-sales & Design Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Translate customer requirements as directed by Sales or gathered from Site Surveys into functionally viable system designs, including client-facing & technical scopes of work
2. Meet with vendors/prospective vendors to help evaluate products, keeping up to date with new AV technology
3. Create Engineering Design Packages (to include A/V control, video, audio, and networking schematics).
4. Generate and submit List of Materials (LOM) and monitor the ordering of A/V equipment and materials.
5. Coordinate the requirements, integration, and installation of A/V control system programs.
6. Define functional requirements for control systems programmer
7. Shop drawing review and support projects submission/execution from start to finish.
EXPERIENCE & DESIRED TRAITS:
1. Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
2. 6 years minimum of Audio-Visual experience, Design experience; position is not “entry-level”.
3. AVIXA CTS certification is preferable
4. has a Certifications and Good knowledge with different AV manufacturers; Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Clearone ,,,, etc
5. Expertise in AV large scale design
