The Safety Engineer is responsible for providing protection and communication with hotel guests and employees.  He/she is also responsible for patrolling hotel premises to maintain security, detect and report fire, security and safety hazards. He/she is to develop procedures and design systems to protect people from illness and injury and property from damage and to combine knowledge of engineering and of health & safety to make sure that chemicals, machinery, software, furniture, and other products will not cause harm to people or damage to property.

What you will be doing:

The responsibilities of this position include, but not limited to:

Carry out proposed renovation of guest rooms or public areas.

FireandSafetyprocedures.

Any Emergency Procedures.

Back-up System (Diesel Generator (DG)Setsand UPS Backup)

Fire alarms and its monitoring.

Fix any water leaks (isolation points).

Maintenance calls logging and action.

Ensure all types of equipment are checked regularly for proper and efficient operation.

Your experience and skills include:

Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent from recognized university. Postgraduate degree in Safety and/or Chartered Engineer Status is preferred.

Experience in Technical Safety Engineering. Held supervisory position and hold track record to train and mentor junior engineers.

Developing ALARP demonstrations for Process Safety risks and preparing HSE Cases.

Knowledgeable of Fire Protection standards and guidelines.

Ability to work as a team member as well as lead role.
