Geotechnical Engineer – NEOM Projct
Responsible for: •

Geotechnical data collection and collation.
• Geotechnical briefs and testing for investigations
• Responsible for material classification criteria
• Geotechnical code and standard criteria and appropriate benchmarking
• Geotechnical assessments and reports
• Ensuring geotechnical interpretation correctly translated into the permanent design and construction/tunneling methodology feasibility and efficiency of tunnel construction methods.
• Works collaboratively to ensure a consistent approach geotechnical issues.
• The approval of geotechnical interpretation concept to IFC.
• Managing the RFI process in timely schedule.
• Ensuring consultants are progressing design as per the schedule and have sufficient information ahead of requirement.
• Degree or above in engineering
•
15 years + experience • Excellent written and spoken English
• Knowledge and previous experience in KSA Technical experience in:
• Geotechnical interpretation
•
Geotechnical code and standard
• Performance based modelling
• Regional geotechnical variances
• Earthworks
• Temporary works design
• Dewatering
• Tunnelling methods
• TBM bored tunnelling
• Drill & Blast/mining
• Shafts design and construction
